Himadri Singh

Himadri has 23 years of professional experience working in technology, finance and oil and gas. He has worked at BP in multiple commercial and leadership roles and during his consulting career has advised oil and gas companies deliver their strategic and commercial goals.

He is the founder of Apeiron Management and keen to help small and mid-sized companies during the transformation phase using his commercial, financial and technology experience.

Himadri hold MBA in Finance from HEC School of Management, Paris and Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, India.

Turlough Cooling

Turlough has 35 years of experience and delivers studies to national oil companies, major and independent companies and investors over a wide range of technical, commercial and strategic activities, including new ventures & exploration, techno-economic asset evaluations and field production & development. He provides technical due diligence studies, reserves audits and Competent Person's Reports (CPR).

Turlough is registered with the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers (SPEE) and certifies reserves and resources reports for stock exchanges as a Competent Person. He holds a MSc. Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, and a BSc. Civil Engineering from Queen Mary College, London University.

Stuart Davis

Stuart has 30 years of experience in the energy industry, primarily focussed on Asia, with a two-year stint in the North Sea. He spent a large part of his career with Geoservices in Singapore managing the Well-Logging, Production Well Testing and Directional Drilling service lines. Stuart has provided commercial and business development services to global companies and was Company Director and General Manager of SPD (now Petrofac Well Engineering) in KL providing drilling project management and well engineering services throughout the region.

Stuart graduated from the Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh) with an engineering degree.

Rafael Morales

Rafael has more than 38 years of extensive experience in development projects for surface installations (facilities) for new fields, revitalization of mature fields, in complex and remote areas, onshore and offshore, including project management and technical consultancy for: development strategies of oil fields, new business development, project reviews, de-bottling studies, asset optimization analysis and finding viable economic solutions for challenging business scenarios.

He has worked with: PDVSA, Perez Companc, Petrobras, Mustang, Foster Wheeler, Wood Group, io (GE Oil & Gas - McDermott), Gaffney-Cline (Baker Hughes), in several countries: Argentina , Brazil, Caribbean, Colombia, Ecuador, United States, Japan, Mexico, Peru, Trinidad and Venezuela.

Dr Antonin (Tony) Settari

Dr. A. (Tony) Settari has 50+ years’ experience with a large number of engineering studies of petroleum recovery. He is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Calgary where he taught since 1975 and held the Endowed Chair in Petroleum Engineering until 2014. His areas of expertise include reservoir simulation, fracturing and geomechanics, CCS and other geomechanical problems. He worked on a large number of reservoir engineering projects, including some of the world's largest fields, and consulted for a number of major companies involving a variety of conventional and unconventional recovery processes, as well as CCS, injection-induced fracturing and seismicity, and environmental impacts of oilfield development.

Tony has a M. Eng degree from Technical U. in Brno, and PhD from U. of Calgary. He is a Distinguished Member of SPE, and received several international prizes including the SPE Anthony B. Lucas Gold Medal, the Eni Prize “Frontiers in hydrocarbons” and the SPE C. Ferguson certificate. He is a co-author of the classical textbook on Petroleum Reservoir Simulation (by Aziz and Settari) and has written two other texts and over 160 technical publications.

Rajesh Pai

Rajesh Rajesh started his career as a structurer in Barclays Capital and has a total experience of over 20 years in the financial services industry. He has experience in various asset classes, including working as consultant for Deutsche Bank and UBS. Rajesh is currently focussing on debt financing, debt restructuring and asset deals for ASIL Partners with a particular focus on Oil & Gas and Real Estate.

He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and a B.Tech in Electronics Engineering.

Richa

Richa is an experienced Geophysicist and a Rock Physics specialist with 11+ years of diverse experience in the oil and gas industry. Having worked in multiple basins (Barmer basin, India; Gulf of Mexico, Texas; North Sea, UK; Lower Congo Basin and Kwanza Basin, Angola) across the globe, she has accrued expertise in both clastic and carbonate reservoirs, doing 3D and 4D seismic interpretation. She has been involved at different stages of business cycle – exploration, appraisal, development and production.

She has a PhD in Rock Physics from Stanford and a masters degree in Geophysics from IIT Roorkee, India.

Sumon Bhattacharyya

Sumon is an experienced Chartered Geologist (C.Geol) and Certified Petroleum Geologist (P.Geol) having nearly 27+ years of experience working in 39 countries. He has worked in Geological and Geophysical interpretation and integration of field, Geological Modelling, Reserves and Resource audits, Unitization, Integrated Field Studies, Field Development Studies and Seismic to Simulation workflows. Experienced working for both clastics and carbonate reservoirs with knowledge of application and algorithm design for Geomodelling software that helps him in to effectively work through complex G&G problems.

He has a masters degree in Applied Geology from Delhi University, India.

Stewart Ralston is a UK based Engineering and Project Management Consultant, Energy Facilities & Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert, Expert Witness (UK Register), Associate, Executive & Non-Executive Director with 30+ years energy, oil, gas, marine and green renewables experience, undertaking commercial, legal & technical advisory in many high-profile roles and projects in the UK and globally.

He is a Chartered Engineer; BSc Eur Ing FEANI CEng MIMechE, graduated in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Glasgow.

He also acquired qualifications in legal and commercial spheres by being awarded a Master of Laws (LLM) and MCIArb – Adjudicator, Arbitrator and Mediator.

Akshay is an experienced Reservoir Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Having worked in both consultancy and operator, he has gained experience working on different projects for fields in Nigeria, UK, Netherlands, Oman and India. Having been involved in multiple projects across domains, he has accrued knowledge and domain expertise in Reservoir Simulation (Eclipse, tNavigator, CMG-IMEX and Tempest) and Production Analysis.

He has a Masters from Imperial College London and a Bachelors from IIT Kharagpur India.

David Heath

David Heath has 38 years of experience in subsea engineering. He extensive experience in subsea design, pipeline engineering, pipeline installation, trenching, diving/ROV and pre-commissioning. He supervised several pre-commissioning operations culminating in the 167 km 27-inch Britannia gas export pipeline pre-commissioning. David also co-wrote the Shell in-house pre-commissioning guide with the Shell pre-commissioning expert and then became the technical lead in Shell Gannet’s pre-commissioning team.

He has a degree in Chemical Engineering and has been a chartered member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers for many years.

Manish Agarwal

Manish has 25 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry. Areas of expertise include regional & field scale data integration, seismic and well data interpretation & geophysical support for field development & drilling. Extensive experience in seismic data acquisition, seismic processing & interpretation and field development. He has good knowledge of field development plans, static & dynamic reservoir modelling & well planning. Developed and integrated technical workflows for time to depth conversion using image ray tomography. Specialist in quantification of sub-surface depth uncertainties and subsequent probabilistic volumetric assessment.

He holds a Master in Applied Geophysics from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.

Stuart McMahon

Stuart has 18 years of experience in energy industry. He has been intimately involved in all phases of project work, from proposals, conceptual, Pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design to execution and close-out. Integral knowledge of plant design and layout standards, functionality, performance, integrity and multi-discipline interaction. Driving early definition of engineering packages and coordinated market involvement and assessment through prequalification and tender evaluation methods. Heavily involved in installation and construction execution plans and schedules along with being a driving force for a consistent cost and estimating methodology across project disciplines.

He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Portsmouth.

John Ciccarelli

John is a highly skilled Senior Reservoir Engineer with more than 11 years’ experience in Oil and Gas industry. He has held positions in consulting and service companies in countries including Australia, Malaysia, UK and Norway.

He has worked on both onshore and offshore assets across the lifecycle of various hydrocarbon reservoirs and geologies, including; exploration asset reservoir simulation and forecasting, Field Development Planning, sensitivity/uncertainty and history matching studies on well tests and producing assets, infill well optimisation, waterflood sensitivity, and Enhanced Oil Production (EOR) strategies.

He has extensive experience of using ECLIPSE, INTERSECT and tNavigator.

Dibyatanu Kundu

Dibyatanu has over 19 years of experience as a Reservoir Engineer, both with operators and service companies. He has worked on project and asset teams, both as contributor and leader in several countries. He has been involved in field development planning, discovered resources opportunities evaluation, reservoir management, reserves reporting, and several other facets of reservoir engineering in his career.

He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Indian School of Mines and is currently pursuing Master’s degree also in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot Watt University. In his free time, he likes to tinker with Arduino and programming languages with his son, and read, both fiction and non-fiction.

Ian Veltman

Ian has had over 40 years of experience and undertakes consultancy work for oil and gas companies. He has wide experience in areas ranging from due-diligence audit, project evaluation, field development, conceptual, front-end, and detailed design and operating supporting the oil and gas industry including carbon-capture and storage projects. Ian’s clients have included oil and gas majors such as Shell and Exxon Mobil as well as smaller operators and utility companies.

Ian is a member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and Royal Society of Chemistry. He is a chartered engineer and chartered chemist. He holds an MA from St John’s College, Cambridge and D.Phil from the University of Sussex.

His recent experience with Schlumberger includes multiclient new ventures, geophysical field operations, contract and project management, business transformation, new technology deployment and business development. Over the years, he has demonstrated strong leadership skills and has played a key role in delivering complex projects and operational excellence with focus on QHSE and schedule.

Upendra holds a master degree in Applied Geophysics and a bachelor degree in Computer Science from Kurukshetra University, India.

Dave Russell

Dave Russell has over 35 years of experience in the energy industry who brings a thorough knowledge and understanding of the E&P business including Project Framing, Selection & Execution, Operations Excellence through to Decommissioning & Abandonment. During his career Dave has held a variety of Leadership positions providing him a strong international knowledge of the operations, engineering and consulting businesses. Dave was previously an executive Director of a leading Energy Consultancy where he was responsible for the ongoing operations, business development and strategic direction of a specific business unit. This included full P&L responsibility for the unit with a turnover >£20m per annum employing up to150 personnel. Dave fulfilled a dual role as the Global Business Improvement Director driving best practice and knowledge transfer across the company’s Projects, Subsea and Consultancy business units.

Dave is an experienced Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers who is passionate about sustainability and driving performance improvement through the application of digital technologies.

Jasper Peijs

Jasper is a well-known oil and gas executive and thought leader in the African Energy landscape, global Exploration and the Energy Transition. He provides key expertise in four areas: 1. value creation in oil and gas; 2. Energy Transition, especially CCUS; 3. Leadership Coaching; 4. Stakeholder and Government engagement.

He has been a keynote speaker or panel member at multiple industry conferences, providing perspectives on exploration strategies and the future of energy in Africa. He sees the energy transition as a huge opportunity for both countries and companies and recently wrote an Op-ed piece for the Africa Rising Report. As Exploration vice-president, he helped grow bp’s upstream footprint in Africa from four to ten countries. Jasper is an expert in evaluation of oil and gas opportunities on a global scale with over twenty discoveries to his name across six countries. He created successful business strategies for teams in the Gulf of Mexico (USA), Egypt and more recently focused on Africa.

Jasper has been advising a variety of companies with regards to business opportunities and strategies with respect to Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage (CCUS). He has a Masters in Geology from Utrecht University, a power MBA (ADP) from the London Business School and a degree in CCUS from Edinburgh University. He has recently joined the advisory board of Invest in Africa and is director of Perspective Energy Advisory.

Judicale Tinss

Judicael has over twenty years of international experience in reservoir management, geoscience and business development from the U.S, West Africa, Middle East and Europe. He specialises in asset development, operation and transformation project management helping companies navigate through their energy transition journey. He also has extensive experience in project evaluation screening and provides technical advice for due-diligence reviews, asset acquisitions, divestitures and mergers.

Judicael holds a BSc. In Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, a MSc. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master in Reservoir Geoscience from the IFP School.
